July 30, 2020. Post Covid-19 time -an imagining. Bini and Rodney have gone to the zoo with Phill. They are happy to see all the animals but a little upset about the fences and cages. So they are talking to some of the zoo keepers about it. “Well “says one keeper “ some of the animals are too dangerous to be able to just roam around. So for public safety we have to have fences. But we try to give them as natural a habitat as possible.” “Don’t they just want to go back to their own places?” asks Bini. “ Maybe, but most of these animals were born in captivity and wouldn’t know how to live in the wild.” Hmmm thinks Bini I wonder! “Anyway “ says the keeper” things are evolving in zoos and probably we won’t see them in the future.” Rodney and Bini think that’s probably a good thing. Then they realize the Phill has wandered off and got to close to one of the enclosures! A zoo keeper is going to bring him back. “ Come on Phill!” shouts Bini “ We are going to see the seals eat fish!” And away they go Bini and Rodney singing “ We are going to the zoo , zoo, zoo.
