May 9, 2020. Day 54 of Covid-19. Still waiting at home time. Gumby and Pokey have gone fishing. It was time for some peace and quiet. Pokey has been finding that there are a lot of rules to think about. And in fact Gumby has broken one of Pokey’s rules- he has brought along a bottle of wine! Pokey grumbles” That’s just great! Now I am going to have to do all the rowing!” “ No“ says Gumby “ I plan on being a responsible drinker. Everything’s going to be fine! Relax and enjoy the fishing”. And so it was , Gumby was a responsible fellow and Pokey learned to sit quietly and not frighten the fish. They each caught one fish and released it back into the lake. And it was a lovely day for both of them.
