Mother of 3, Also Paints: May 5, 2021. Pandemic Blues. Gumby has taken Pokey to the beach. He’s thinking that might be more fun than art museums for Pokey. After all he mutters to himself-I can be fun too! They are walking down the beach to find a good spot to set up for the day. Pokey has a backpack full of sandwiches, cookies and chips. Gumby is pulling a wagon with a sun umbrella, towels , water toys and it looks like a bottle of wine! Just in case thinks Gumby. Suddenly Pokey sees a little boy building sand castles. He trots over to see if he can help but unfortunately tramples down some of the castle! The little boy is crying, Pokey is trying to explain that it’s difficult to manage four feet and the mother is looking a bit angry! Oh my! Gumby rushes over and helps rebuild the castle. Then they decide the best spot might be further down the beach.
