May 12, 2021. Pandemic Blues. Gumby and Pokey have been walking around and around in the forest. Gumby feels terrible! He thinks he should have been paying attention and not lost the path. And Pokey has been very quiet because he is really afraid. He’s thinking that everyone says he’s brave and bold but really he is very afraid . Pokey doesn’t like being lost. As they are climbing over a large rock, Pokey suddenly says “ I know this rock! This is my jumping rock!” “ Look “says Gumby “ There is a raccoon family on the other side!” The Racoon family jumps up in surprise and Papa Racoon says “ What’s going on?”in a gruff voice. Pokeys afraid again but Gumby says “We’ve been lost in the woods!” And so the raccoon family explain how to find their way home while Pokey and the Baby Racoon practice jumping off the rock( after agreeing to share the jumping rock).
