Post Covid Time with the Philosopher and the Apprentice. Today the Apprentice is perplexed. The Philosopher has been working hard all morning , building what he calls, “ The Facilities!” He calls it a civilizing influence and education for the Apprentice. The Apprentice doesn’t get it- the woods have been fine for a long time and the River is close by for washing. A bit cold in the winter it’s true, but they have been self isolating for a long time and so has everyone else - so no need to be modest. Well the Philosopher kept on muttering about the Apprentice needing to know how to behave when she got out in the world and the Apprentice kept thinking that she thought the rest of the world was boring and empty. At least that’s what she had always been told. When she inquired about privacy in the house, the Philosopher said” oh we can roll the old Door in front, finally it has a purpose.
