June 25, 2020. Post Covid-19 time -an imagining. “Let’s go to the beach” pleads Bini. “There’s been so much going on I need a break!” Well Phill is not so keen on the beach. All that sand getting everywhere! But he agrees that they need a break. So off they go and of course Phill takes his chips and beer and some orange soda for Bini. Imagine their surprise when they discover they are at a nude beach! Bini is curious and asks” How come we look so different ? I can’t take my feathers off, I always look the same. “. “It’s okay” says Phill “ everyone is just different and it doesn’t matter. Inside is what matters. You are some kind of a bird but you are smart and fun and kind. That’s what is important.” “And what are you?” asks Bini. “Well, I guess I am sort of an eggplant” mumbles Phill. “A vegetable!” gasps Bini. “ Well it’s okay because you are kind too”. They have a great day at the beach, don’t burn and enjoy the water.
