May 26,2021. Pandemic Blues. It’s been so hot lately that Gumby and Pokey decided to imagine being in the far north. “At least we will think it’s cooler!”says Pokey. They are thinking of polar bears, ice , seals and an igloo. “Imaginings great fun” says Gumby “and I do feel cooler just thinking about lots of ice and snow. But you know there are problems with the world getting too warm and even up North the snow is disappearing too much!” Poor Pokey it makes his head swim to think the ice will all melt away! “What can I do?”he wails. “Well maybe be more careful about how we use energy. “ suggests Gumby. “I’m going to write a letter to the government telling them they need to help!”exclaims Pokey. “ Well that might help!”answers Gumby .
