April 5,2021 Pandemic Blues. Here are Gumby and Pokey again! Pokey is suffering a fit of ennui! Oh dear thinks Gumby here we go again! Pokey is lying on his side, whimpering and moaning and kicking. “ What’s wrong?”asks Gumby. “ Nothings changed! A whole year and still it’s a lockdown!”Pokey groans. “Hmmm”murmurs Gumby. “Well at least Spring is coming. Look at the lovely greens and yellows just beginning to show”. “Noooo, that just means it’s going to rain!”moans Pokey “ can it get any worse?” Poor Pokey, life is very miserable right now. Gumby walks away wondering how to help his friend. Maybe tomorrow will be better. Pokey can’t believe Gumby is leaving him!
