May 12, 2020. Day 57 of Covid-19. The natives are getting restless. Let’s hope stay at home time is almost done. Gumby and Pokey are on the farm today , trying to help with a small vegetable garden . They have checked the catalog and seeds have been ordered. Now they are turning the soil in a small patch on the lawn . Mr and Mrs Farmer have wisely decided not to interfere and see what the guys can do. Unfortunately Pokey has brought along his toy wind-up bull he bought in the antique shop. The bull has run crazily through all their hard work! Gumby is annoyed! Pokey says soothingly “ Gumby why don’t you have a look at the seeds we ordered and pick the ones you like best? I will put the bull in the pasture and fix this mess.” My goodness, I think Pokey may have learned how to be tactful and helpful! Everything goes smoothly after that and the garden looks perfect. “ Very satisfying” says Gumby.
