May 11, 2020. Day 56 of Covid-19 stay at home time . It’s not over yet folks! After rescuing the princess, Gumby and Pokey are invited to the castle for an afternoon tea reward party. Gumby is thrilled that the princess did have him sit next to her. They also met her two sisters but Gumby thought his princess was the most splendid one of them all. And the tea table!- muffins and scones, so yummy! Suddenly Gumby hears loud slurping and lapping noises! Looking at Pokey he whispers” What are you doing in that tea cup?” “ I wanted to get the last drop at the bottom “ says Pokey in a hollow voice, echoing out of the tea cup. “ Don’t do that! It’s rude!” ,hisses Gumby. The princess leans over, kisses Gumby on the cheek and says” Don’t be embarrassed! We don’t care as long as everyone has a good time!” Gumby is blushing and smiles and enjoys his tea. “That was lovely” says Gumby with a happy smile as they leave to go back to the Door. “What an exciting day! I think I am in love!” Pokey snickers and laughs in a horsey way but is really happy for his friend.
