December 1, 2020 Today it snowed and the boys are very excited! They have built a snowman and now Andy has met some skiers. November 27, 2020. Studio Adventures The boys have decided to see where the bull ,from the farm, was going. It’s a cattle drive with real cowboys. “Look, they even have real guns!” exclaims Andy . “ What ?” screeches Jerry “ I don’t like guns! Are there wild animals or something out here?” “Maybe” answers Andy. “ I’m out of here” says Jerry , turning his horse towards safety( he hopes). Meanwhile Bob is struggling with his horse. “ He won’t stop eating or lift his head! My horse is broken!” “ You look broken too! How about lifting your head?!” laughs Andy. “ I can’t” mumbles Bob. “Wait! What’s that on the ground? Bob have you been drinking the beer already? “ Andy sounds upset. “That was for tonight after the trail ride!” Bob mutters “ I needed courage now!. Let’s giddy up before I change my mind!” It’s going to be a rough ride for Bob! And Jerry looks out over the prairie and decides to stay. Safety in numbers he thinks! November 18, 2020 Studio Adventures Today the boys are hanging out in the park. Andy wants to talk about the dance at the county fair. “Wasn’t that great!” he exclaims” I think I really love dancing! Bob, didn’t everything just turn out fine?” Bob is busy exercising and tries to pretend he didn’t hear Andy. “ Andy” Jerry whispers “ maybe we shouldn’t ask!” “Why not? “ shouts Andy “ I want to know. Can you hear me now Bob? How was the dance?” Bob sighs and says “ It was okay” “What? Didn’t you have fun?!” Andy is having trouble believing that it wasn’t great for Bob too. “Well, the girl was nice enough while we were dancing but later I heard the girls giggling about my two left feet and that I let slip that I thought chickens made lovely friends.” Oh dear thinks Jerry chickens again! Jerry and Andy just look at each other, sigh and decide to leave Bob alone. November 11, 2020 The boys have been having a fine time with the girls on all the rides at the county fair. Now the sun is setting and the girls have heard that there is a dance this evening in the bingo hall. “Wow” says Andy”this is great! They want to go to the dance with us! What are you doing Bob? This is not really the time or place for more yoga!” “No, not yoga!” Says Jerry “I think he’s crying? “Bob what’s wrong now!?” an exasperated Andy asks. Jerry knees down and can hear Bob moaning” Two left feet! Two left Feet!” “ I think he’s worried about not being able to dance!” exclaims Jerry. “Oh “ answers Andy”Don’t worry! It will be dark and just imitate whatever the girl is doing. You don’t have to be perfect Bob! November 7, 2020 Studio Adventures! A day at the county fair! Andy , Bob and Jerry have taken their skateboards to the fair. And who should they meet but some lovely young girls! “Wow” whispers Andy “They are pretty and just our size!” “ Let’s ask them to go on the rides with us!” replies Jerry. Andy and Jerry are looking cool , sitting on their skateboards but poor Bob has taken a tumble! He is so embarrassed! And Jerry and Andy groan “ Bob! Come on the girls are going to laugh at us! Get up and try to look cool!” Bob gets up quickly and hopes he can look cool. He thinks that looking cool was never a problem with Chick.! Well they do ask the girls to go on the merry go round with them and the girls accept! November 2, 2020 Studio Adventures! After all the fun of Halloween, the boys have been thinking about the wonderful blue moon of that night. Andy found an old space ship in the studio and is convinced he can fly to the moon. He talks the others into going - and away they fly. On the moon they are excited by the stories of previous moon visits, and what the earth looks like from space. While they are talking, Jerry sees something else he’s excited about. “ Look!” he screams” I see moon men, aliens!” “Ha ha “says Andy “ Good trick! Your imagination is running away with you!” Bob turns his head and shouts “There they are! It’s not his imagination!” Suddenly the aliens speak” Don’t worry! We are harmless. We are martians on vacation . Do you know how to find the location of the famous moon landing?” Well the boys are flabbergasted! Such a surprise. So they tell the martians how to find the site where Buzz Aldrin first stepped on the moon. October 26, 2020 Studio Adventures! Today the guys are worn out. “ Such a busy weekend” exclaims Andy. “Yes” groans Bob “Such a carryon! Paintings going out, the artist and her helper coming and going all day long! What was gong on?” “There was a studio tour” answers Andy “ Seems to have gone well. What are you doing Bob?” “Some yoga, it’s relaxing! October 21,2020 Studio Adventures! Andy is so excited! They are in the far north with a real dog sled! Bob however is moaning about the cold , even though he has more blankets than anyone! “I’m so sad” he groans” so cold and no Chick to keep me warm “ “ Come on “calls Andy to Jerry “get on board before Bob starts crying again! There’s so much to see! October 19, 2020. Studio Adventures! Bob is crying” My heart is broken! I will never get over this!” “What’s wrong?” asks Jerry. “Chick has found a new rooster! She doesn’t love me anymore! They are eloping!”sniffles Bob. “Well” says Andy “ they look like they were made for each other, more the same type. I’m sure you will find someone else soon!” Bob is too miserable to hear this and keeps crying and thrashing about. “ Come on “ says Jerry “ we have new bikes to ride! Let’s go! Yours is red, Bob.” Slowly Bob gets ahold of himself and decides a ride on a red bike might be just what he needs. October 8, 2020 Studio Adventures “Wow”shouts Andy “a construction site! I’ve always wanted to try out big equipment like this! Vroom vroom! Screech , kaboom!” Andy has a ride on the dump truck, Bob is trying out the front end loader and Jerry is actually driving the roller! However the workers are yelling at them to stop and have called in a policeman to help. There is some questions about proper licenses and ages of these new drivers! Plus they haven’t dumped or moved earth correctly. Meanwhile the guys are loving the big machine noises and are making their own noises as well! October 2, 2020 Studio Adventures! Well after Bob said they weren’t really mountain climbing when the mountain was a stone head, there were some arguments last night. This morning the guys woke up to a full on mountain experience! “Woweee! “ yells Andy “we are going to climb real mountains! We even have a guide! And horses and gear!” Jerry is having a little trouble with getting up on his horse. He whines “ This isn’t working! I can’t seem to sit up straight!” Andy laughs and says “ Pull yourself together! That’s just a pony you are riding. You can do this!” Bob has decided to stay at base camp and help the cook with meals and stuff. “I still think this is a hoax” he exclaims. “It can’t just appear. We are being manipulated !” “Well” says Andy “ if we are it’s a lot of fun for us! Don’t forget we are just action toys and if somebody doesn’t play with us then we have nothing!” “ Okay “ says Bob “ Have it your way. But one of the guides has a gun! Does that mean wild animals?” Now Jerry is nervous and even Andy wonders what they have gotten into ! September 14, 2020. Studio Adventures! So Bob has been trying to collage and it’s not going well at all. He’s on his hands and knees and sniffling a bit. “There’s too much to think about ! “ he cries.” I can’t get an idea , the scissors are too big for my hands, the knife is scary and sharp! And papers keep getting stuck to me!” “Oh”exclaims Andy” I love the big glue stick! I think I am going to do an abstract! Love the colours and textures too!” “Well guys” says Jerry “I’ve decided to just enjoy the art. Take my time and really drink it in! Maybe get all philosophical about the story behind the art!” And Bob and Andy just groan. Now Jerry will be just insufferable and impossible they think. Bob goes back to ungluing his fingers and Andy starts gluing down his abstract. Hey Jerry and Bob are you sitting on wet paint?!” “ It’s fine, all dry” replies Bob . “So what’s plienair ?“asks Jerry “Painting outside”answers Andy. “Oh, sounds hot and buggy” exclaims Bob. And yes it is sometimes but also very satisfying. Wonder what these amateur critics will be doing next ? August 31, 2020 Studio Adventures! “Hey” shouts Andy” Did you see what the artist did this time? These are pretty good!” “Oh no” moans Jerry “It’s sticky and yucky!” “What now ?” grumbles Jerry “ Just when I am enjoying myself. What happened now Jerry?” Bob snickers and says “ I think he has stepped in some paint.” “Quick Bob, bring him one of those wipes!
