Near our cabin are many fields. The area is high and open skies spread all around. Last week there were many of these rolled hay bales. This is what I tried to capture in this small watercolour and crayon piece.

I have been trying out watercolours at the lake. There is a spit of land across the lake from our cabin that has a lovely growth of bush and trees. Here is under bright sunshine, about 11x14, wc on paper.
